Much as we admire the Turkish
railroad network, when goods
move in Turkey, they move by
truck. That means even after the
admiral manages to get ports
working and has the sea-lift
running he has to be aware that
trucks will need fuel and parts in
order to deliver the cargoes.

Track gauge differences usually
mean each rail car must be
unloaded and the contents
reloaded into another car.
